Acoustic, Electric, and Bass Guitar

Hans began studying music at an early age.  He has studied electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, piano, clarinet , bass clarinet, saxophone, tuba and upright string bass.  He has played with his father's jazz band, the Virginia Beach orchestra, the Norfolk symphony, various rock bands and even some gospel and bluegrass bands.

Hans teaches both children and adults to read by music and play by ear with a fun, yet steady, approach.  He also leads a youth rock band which students can join once they've had a few months of lessons.

Rates: $80.00 per Month for one lesson per week.

Todd Durham

Todd Durham’s love of music began as a child listening to his older brother playing piano and guitar. With a growing curiosity for musical expression Todd began playing the piano and trombone at age 10. From the moment he strummed the guitar during his first lesson, he knew it would be his instrument of choice. Todd enjoys playing a variety of musical styles including folk, blues, jazz and rock. Todd’s passion as a teacher is to help others build a knowledge of musical theory and technique and to inspire his students to find their own musical voice.
